We have received the following information from Southend United ahead of this evening’s scheduled fixture.

A safety inspection was carried out at 7:30am this morning to review the situation following Storm Eunice. The inspection concluded that there were no current concerns, but the situation will be constantly reviewed. Further grounds inspections are planned for 1pm and 3pm respectively.

In addition, the match officials are due to arrive at Roots Hall at approximately 4pm this afternoon.
