Supporters making the trip to South Wales for Town’s Sky Bet League Two fixture away at Newport County tomorrow should be aware of the following information ahead of matchday.

Supporters can choose between covered seating in the Bisley Stand or uncovered seating in the Purevans.com Stand.

Matchday tickets can be purchased from the ticket booth located next to Gate 6, which opens from 2pm. Please note, they accept both cash and card.

Away Supporters’ Stand

Town supporters will be located in the Bisley Stand at the side of the pitch (allocated covered seating) and the Purevans.com Stand (uncovered seating).

Access to both areas is via Gate 6.

Getting To The Stadium

Rodney Parade is easily accessible by road and rail.

By Car

Leave the M4 at Junction 24 and take the B4237 towards Newport. After approximately 2.5 miles, turn left at the traffic lights signposted B4237. Pass under the bridge, then turn right at the next set of lights. Continue past the ATS garage on your right and you will see the entrance to the away end on the left.

Parking

The stadium does not have an on-site car park. Supporters are advised to use street parking (please check local restrictions) or one of the town centre’s pay-and-display car parks.

The nearest option is Kingsway Centre Car Park, located off the A4042 (Postcode: NP20 1EU).

By Train

The nearest station is Gwent (Newport), which is less than a 10-minute walk from the ground.

Walking Directions:

  • Exit the station via Platform 1

  • Cross the road towards Admiral Insurance and turn left

  • Follow the path as it curves past Delilah’s Café and Bar

  • Continue towards Market Arcade and Popadom’s Indian Restaurant

  • At the end of the road, take the staircase on your right and go through the underpass

  • This leads to Clarence Street Bridge

  • Cross the bridge and take the first right onto Rodney Road, which brings you directly to the stadium

Food, Drink & Stadium Facilities

Both hot and cold food and drink options are available from outlets just inside the turnstiles, including burgers, hot dogs and pies.

Alcohol will also be served to away supporters.

Please note that all stadium bars are cashless.

The ground is located just across the bridge from the town centre, which offers a wide range of eateries. Friars Walk shopping centre includes options such as KFC, Zizzi, Greggs, and more.

Flags

Supporters are generally permitted to bring flags into the stadium, provided they are displayed safely and do not block walkways. Stewards will be on hand to assist if required.
