New boss, Michael Jolley has several injury concerns ahead of Saturday’s Sky Bet League Two clash with Port Vale at Blundell Park (3pm).
Paul Dixon could be out for at least four weeks and requires surgery on a knee injury. Luke Summerfield has picked up an hamstring injury and is set to miss out, Charles Vernam has returned to his parent club Derby to assess an injury he picked up at Carlisle last week. Karleigh Osborne, who was injured in the warm-up at Brunton Park, is also a big doubt.
Mallik Wilks has returned from his parent club Leeds where he returned for treatment (as reported), as did Simeon Jackson who could return to action as early as next week.
Ben Davies is making progress and could be back for next week’s fixture at Lincoln City.
