An Appeal To Our Supporters

On a number of occasions this season including our latest visit to Woking, we have had further supporters ejected from the stadium for encroaching onto the playing area. We previously appealed to our fans to remain behind the advertising barriers at all times, with the vast majority of our support setting an exemplary standard both home and away.

Whilst we fully appreciate the range of emotions felt during the 90 minutes of a fixture, these regular disturbances could have significant ramifications on the club as well as the individuals involved. These include impacting our arguments when trying to maintain as many 3pm kick-offs as possible, receiving full allocations from away clubs as well as the numbers of stewards allocated to our supporters on away fixtures. This season continues to prove that we truly are greater together and one that we wish to share with as many of our supporters as possible in a safe and enjoyable manner.

We once again would like to remind our supporters that encroaching onto the playing surface is a criminal offence and could lead to a court appearance and a ban from attending all football matches for a set period of time, both home and away.

We would like to thank you for your excellent and continued support this campaign and encourage you to keep making memories this season with the Mariners!
