On Friday 12th October, we welcome Tony Cottee to McMenemy’s at Blundell Park.
Cottee enjoyed a 19 year playing career, where he scored almost 300 goals in all competitons for the likes of West Ham United, Leicester City and Everton.
Cottee began his playing career at West Ham United, making his debut at the age of 17 on New Years Day in 1983 where he also found the back of the net against Tottenham Hotspur. Over two spells at the Hammers, Cottee made over 280 appearances in all competitions, scoring 117 goals in the process.
In 1988, Cottee became the most expensive transfer for a British club, when he made the move to Everton making his debut vs. Newcastle United in August 1988, getting off to a flying start by scoring a hat-trick in the game.
Tickets for the event will cost £45 per head which will also include a three course meal and live entertainment from a stand-up comedian. Doors for the event will open from 7pm.
