Away Day Guide – Doncaster Rovers

With a sold-out away end at Doncaster Rovers’ Eco-Power Stadium on Easter Monday, supporters making the trip can find all the important information they need in Kristine Green’s Away Day Guide…

What colour kit will the team be wearing?

We’re in blue for this game.

What’s the ticket information?

The game is an away sell-out with no further tickets available.

How do I get to the ground?

The postcode for the Eco-Power Stadium is DN4 5JW. Supporters can leave the M18 at junction 3 and head towards the A6182 for Doncaster. The stadium is well signposted from here.

What stand are we in?

We’re in the North Stand – this is an all-seater stand that will have unallocated seating.

When do turnstiles open?

Turnstiles will be opening at a slightly earlier time of 1pm.

Where is the best place to park?

Parking is available at the ground at a cost of £5 and can be booked HERE. Should any spaces be left on the day, the price increases to £6.00. Alternatively, there is matchday parking on the industrial park nearby but this is not run by the football club.

Roads around the stadium are restricted so please do not park there.

Is there any disabled parking?

There are a number of disabled spaces available at the ground but these must be booked in advance by calling 01302 762576.

What is the nearest train station to the stadium and what is the approximate distance and walking time?

Doncaster Train Station is around two miles from the ground – the number 56 bus is usually available but will be at a minimum with it being a bank holiday. Taxis will be available outside the station. This is a good 25-30 minute walk away so if you fancy that turn right out of the station and then stay on the A6182 Trafford Way. This takes you to the ground.

Recommended pubs for away fans?

Due to a reduced capacity, the Belle Vue Bar at the ground will be for home fans only.

The Leopard is a four-minute walk from the station and the postcode is DN1 3AA. There are other pubs in the town centre but some may be home fans only.

There is a Lakeside Beefeater on the retail park near the ground.

Food available in the area?

The Lakeside Retail Park near the ground has KFC, McDonalds, Pizza Hut and Costa. Across the lake there is a Frankie & Bennies.

Where is the nearest cash machine to the Stadium?

There is a free-to-use ATM on Lakeside Village.

What food and drink is available on the concourse at the stadium?

The away end has the usual burgers, pies and chips as well as hot and cold drinks and snacks. Alcohol is available in the away end. Both cash and card are accepted in the stadium.

Is there a printed programme?

A printed programme is available at a cost of £3.

What is the process for supporters looking to bring flags into the stadium?

Please follow stewards instructions when placing flags.

We’re looking forward to seeing an away end full of Town fans tomorrow – be loud, be proud, be Town!
