As we continue to improve the transparency of our communication with our supporters, Grimsby Town Football Club can confirm that despite going over and above with its COVID safety protocols, positive lateral flow test results have been returned from members of the first team.

We are currently awaiting the results of conducted PCR tests from the affected members of the squad to confirm the validity of the original results ahead of Saturday’s season opener against Bromley.

Once further information has been received, we will communicate this with our supporters as soon as possible.
