Here’s a few key dates for you ahead of the 2018/19 Season.

Monday 7th May – Domestic transfer window opens

Saturday 9th June – International transfer window opens

Thursday 21 June, the fixtures for all three divisions of the Sky Bet EFL are set to be released at 9am.

Wednesday 27th June – players return for pre season.

Sunday 29th July – Community Open Day

The window for permanent transfers is set to close on Thursday, August 9 at 5pm. 

The new 2018/19 Season gets underway on Saturday 4th August. Town kicked off the 2017/18 campaign with a nice 3-1 victory at Chesterfield. 

The first round of the Carabao Cup will be played the week commencing the 13th  August. The Mariners were knocked out of the competition by Championship side Derby County last season.

The Checkatrade Trophy gets underway during the week commencing the 3rd of September .

The Emirates FA Cup first round will be scheduled for the weekend of the 10th  November. Town’s hopes of an FA Cup run were extinguished as they were knocked out of the competition by League One Plymouth Argyle at Home Park. Graham Carey’s ninth-minute strike eventually proved to be enough to settle this first round tie, although the Mariners pushed hard in an attempt to force at least a replay.

The final day of the season is set to take place on the 4th May.
