We can announce that striker Edwin Essel has joined Guiseley on a one-month loan deal, subject to FA approval.

The teenager spent time with Cleethorpes Town and Grimsby Borough throughout the 2022/23 season and now makes the temporary switch to West Yorkshire with the Northern Premier League club.

He made his Mariners debut as a substitute in last season’s Emirates FA Cup Fourth Round replay victory against recently-promoted Premier League side Luton Town.
