Andy Cook returned to Blundell Park on loan from Bradford City for the remainder of the 2025/26 season, bringing with him vast experience and a proven goalscoring pedigree in Sky Bet League Two.
A familiar face to Mariners supporters, Cook previously represented Town during the 2012/13 and 2013/14 seasons, scoring 22 goals in all competitions and finding the net in the FA Trophy Final at Wembley.
Since departing Grimsby, the forward had gone on to establish himself as a key figure at Bradford City, where he has become one of the club’s all-time leading goalscorers, while also enjoying productive spells with Barrow, Tranmere Rovers and others across the Football League and non-league.
With over 680 senior appearances and more than 250 career goals to his name, Cook rejoined Town on a permanent deal after his contract with Bradford expired in summer 2026 penning a one-year deal, with the club holding an option to extend for a further year.
