Grimsby Town Football Club are pleased to announce that defender, Andrew Fox has signed a contract extension with the club ahead of the 18/19 season.

Andrew becomes the first contract renewal secured for Michael Jolley ahead of the 18/19 season. Fox was the first signing of Michael jolley’s tenure, joining the Mariners in March and making his debut 24 hours later at home to Port Vale in a 1-1 draw. 

Speaking exclusively to gtfc.co.uk, Andrew is happy to have his future sorted. “I’m really pleased to have resigned with Grimsby”, said Fox. “I’m looking forward to getting started again, working hard and trying to make next season a special one.”

Working previously with the defender at Swedish club, AFC Eskilstuna, Manager Michael Jolley spoke about securing the services of Andrew for next season. “Foxy played an important role in our survival last season and showed his commitment and athleticism in those last 10 games”, said Jolley. “With a full pre-season behind him, we are confident that Andy can make a big contribution next season”.
