Thursday’s Mariners Trust Games Night proved to be a huge success and they will be looking to repeat the event in the future.

The Mariners Trust’s, Dave Roberts commented: “It was a great success with a good turnout, and everyone commented how much they enjoyed it.

“The young players who represented the team Harry Clifton, Elliot Embleton, Reece Hall- Johnson, Matty Pollock, and Ollie Battersby were a credit to themselves and the club. Nothing was too much trouble.

“This is the first time we have tried this and is something we will certainly be looking to repeat later in the year. There are a couple of things we now know we can improve on which will make the next event even better.”
