Grimsby Town Player Of The Year Awards 2019: The Winners

Goalkeeper James McKeown has won the Grimsby Town supporters’ Player of the Year award 2019 at the club’s annual awards evening.

The 29-year-old, who has had an excellent season campaign, has retained the award – becoming the first player to do this since himself in 2013 and 2014!

Youth academy graduate Harry Clifton won the Grimsby Town supporters’ young Player of the Year award – as he also retained the trophy from last year.

On-loan Sunderland midfielder Elliot Embleton won Goal of the Season for his strike in the 3-1 Emirates FA Cup victory over MK Dons at Blundell Park in November.

Energetic midfielder Jake Hessenthaler won the Grimsby Town official website Player of the Year.

Defender Luke Hendrie won the Legends Bar Player of the Year award, which was presented by Town legend Dave Boylen.

McKeown, Hessenthaler, and Clifton were the main winners at the awards evening.
