Magnificent Mariners end The Grecians run.

A much-changed Town team had a comfortable victory at table-toppers Exeter City.

The Mariners took the lead in spectacular fashion when Ethan Robson fired home from the edge of the box following a corner.

And the visitors doubled their lead soon after the break when Max Wright was upended in the box. Moses Ogbu stepped up, and fired beyond the reach of the City keeper before celebrating with his now-customary somersault.

The 261 travelling Town fans were in dreamland when Robson added his second and Town’s third on 67 minutes.

And with 2 minutes of added-on time remaining, City got a consolation goal from Ryan Bowman.
