Leyton Orient Travel Guide

What colour kit will the team be wearing?

We will be wearing our Blue kit for our trip to Leyton Orient.

What’s the ticket information?

The Club have received 1250 tickets, all of which will be likely sold before matchday. No further tickets will be available.

It is unallocated seating – fans are advised to arrive in time to avoid delays in finding a seat.

How do I get to the ground?

Post Code is E10 5NF

Leave the M25 at junction 27 and onto the M11 towards London. As the motorway comes to an end, follow the signs for North Circular A406 W.  As you come over the flyover, move into the left-hand land to take the A104, then turn left at the roundabout. At the next roundabout continue on the A104 towards Walthamstow and Leyton. Turn left at the traffic lights signposted Leyton Leisure Lagoon. As you reach a block of flats turn left onto Leyton High Road. After passing the Jet garage, bare right. The stadium will be on the right-hand side.

What stand are we in?

Town fans are located in The Green Inc. East Stand (top right on the map below).  Entry is via turnstiles C + D.

When do turnstiles open?

Turnstiles open at 1:30pm.

Where is the best place to park?

The stadium has no parking and street parking around the ground is largely permit/residential only.

If you are looking to drive to the stadium the nearest pay and display car parks are around a 20-minute walk away.

Church Lane – E11 4QN – 24-hour car park – £6 for over 4 hours – only a small car park

Leytonstone Station – E11 1HW – 24-hour car park – £3 for the day – only a small car park

Stanley Road – E10 7FF – 24-hour car park – £5 over 4 hours

Alternatively look at northern stations on the Central Line, such as Epping which has a large car park, and use the underground to avoid traffic.

Stratford is also an option (1 stop down from Leyton on the Central Line), it is likely to be very busy with Saturday shoppers.

Is there any disabled parking?

3 spaces at the ground that are pre-booked

Leytonstone Station has 2 disabled bays

Please be mindful of street restrictions in London that mean usual Blue Badge parking is not applicable.

What is the nearest train station to the stadium and what is the approximate distance and walking time?

The nearest underground station is Leyton on the central line, it’s about a 10-minute walk away. Turn right out of the station down Leyton High Road until Coronation Gardens is on your left. Turn down Buckingham Road and the ground is right in front of you.

Leyton Midland Road is the nearest overground station and is around a 15-minute walk away. Turn left towards Leyton and down the High Street past Leyton County Cricket Club. Turn right down Osborne Road and the away stand is right in front of you.

Strike action means, at the time of writing, that no trains will be running from Grimsby down to London

Recommended pubs for away fans?

The Coach and Horses on the High Road is now home fans only (fans may have used it on previous visits) as is the Leyton Star near the tube station.

Pubs welcoming away fans:

The supporter’s bar at the ground on Oliver Road. £1 entry, smallish capacity and will refuse entry once this is met.

Leyton Technical on the High Road, E10 5QN – decent size

Birkbeck Tavern – Langthorne Road, E11 4HL – Near to Leyton tube station.

Northcote Arms – Grove Green Road, E11 4EL

NO ALCOHOL is served to any away fans in the ground.

Is food available in the area?

Plenty of different outlets are available on the High Street and in Stratford.

Where is the nearest cash machine to the Stadium?

Tesco Metro and Sainsbury’s Local on the High Street both have free ATM’s.

What food and drink is available on the concourse at the stadium?

Both hot and cold food and drink items are available inside the ground. Please note inside the stadium is now CASHLESS. The purchase of food and drink is via card only.

The away end DOES NOT serve alcohol.

Is a programme available?

A programme is available at a cost of £3.50.

What is the drum and flag policy?

No flags on poles. It is possible that large flags won’t be accommodated as the away section is pretty much sold out so no space to place them.
