Grimsby Town Football Club is delighted to announce that our 2022/23 Third kit is now available via the club shop and marinersdirect.co.uk.

Earlier this year, the Mariners Trust ran a competition for its junior members to submit designs for the 2022/23 third kit, with the winning design selected and submitted to technical sponsors, Macron. In addition, all profits raised from the sale of these kits will be donated to the Shalom Youth Club on the East Marsh.

Winning designers Bella (10) & Molly (7) were in attendance at Blundell Park last week with members of the Mariners’ first team, both of who have been further inspired following the successful Women’s Euro 2022 success of England. Mariners Trust Chair & Fan Elected Director Kristine Green spoke to gtfc.co.uk ahead of the third kit launch to give further insight into the decisions made for this year’s alternative kit.

“As a Club board, it was incredibly difficult to choose a winner with so many excellent entries! After much discussion, it was a unanimous decision in selecting Bella & Molly’s design. It’s something a little different to what we’ve had in the past”.

The third kit is expected to get its first run out this Saturday, as the Mariners travel to Rochdale for a 3pm kick-off. With demand expected to match our previous kit releases, be sure to secure yours at your earliest opportunity!
