We can confirm that we will face Wigan Athletic at Blundell Park in our final pre-season fixture ahead of the 2026/27 campaign.

The Mariners will welcome the Latics to DN35 on Saturday 1st August, with kick-off scheduled for 3pm.

The fixture will provide David Artell’s side with one final opportunity to fine-tune preparations before the start of the new Sky Bet League Two season, as they take on a Wigan side competing in Sky Bet League One.

Supporters will be able to get a final look at the squad ahead of the new campaign, with the visit of the Latics completing our pre-season schedule. Ticket information for the fixture will be confirmed in due course.
