We’re back in Sky Bet League Two action this evening as we host Accrington Stanley at Blundell Park, looking to extend an impressive run of form.
The Mariners arrive unbeaten in our last eight league fixtures, nine in all competitions, with momentum continuing to grow within David Artell’s side. Saturday’s goalless draw away at Newport County followed an entertaining 2-2 contest against MK Dons at Blundell Park the previous weekend, further highlighting the resilience and consistency currently driving Town forward.
Sitting just four points off the play-off places and holding a game in hand on several sides around us, tonight presents another significant opportunity to close the gap and move within touching distance of the top seven. Against an Accrington side eager to challenge, the Mariners will be determined to build on our strong run and take another important step in the promotion race.
Supporters can hear from Head Coach David Artell ahead of kick-off by watching the full pre-match press conference below.
