Welcome back to Blundell Park as we prepare to welcome Northampton Town for another Sky Bet League Two fixture at the home of the Mariners.

David Artell’s side will be looking to get back to winning ways after a difficult run of league results, as we look to turn our recent performances into points and climb the table. With the season still in its early stages, Saturday presents another opportunity for Town to respond and give our supporters something to cheer about.

With another important afternoon of football ahead and plenty to look forward to around the ground, we’ve pulled together all the key information you’ll need ahead of kick-off, including stadium access, turnstile opening times, ticket details, food and drink outlets, entertainment, travel and parking, and everything else supporters need to know before arriving.

We encourage all supporters to arrive in plenty of time to avoid queues and make the most of everything on offer around the ground.

Ahead of kick-off, David Artell shared his thoughts on Town’s recent run, the importance of responding positively and Saturday’s challenge against Northampton Town:

Opening Times

9am: Ticket Office & Club Shop opens

12pm: The Lower Bar open to supporters

1:30pm: Turnstiles open

Fan Zone Update

We can confirm that the Fan Zone will not be open ahead of tomorrow’s fixture against Northampton Town.

We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause and thank supporters for their understanding. We can confirm, however, that the Fan Zone will re-open for our next fixture against York City on Saturday 31st October. We will announce further details on this in the week of the fixture.

There are still several refreshment options available around Blundell Park for tomorrow, with food vendors located around the ground. The Lower Bar will open from 12pm, while the bars inside the stadium will open from 1:30pm.

Ticket News

7,000+ tickets have now been sold for this fixture, with limited seats now available around Blundell Park. Supporters can purchase online or from the Ticket Office, which will be open until kick-off.

We’d like to remind fans to enter Blundell Park via the entrance stated on their ticket to help avoid any delays on arrival.

Danny North in McMenemy’s

We’re delighted to welcome former Mariners forward Danny North back to Blundell Park as our Returning Mariner for Saturday’s fixture against Northampton Town. A product of Town’s youth system, North made his professional debut in 2005, went on to become the Club’s top scorer in the 2007/08 season and famously scored Grimsby’s 7,000th goal in all competitions. Danny will be presented to supporters on the pitch at half-time as we celebrate his contribution to the Mariners.

Together Against Racism

Grimsby Town Football Club is proud to support the EFL’s Together Against Racism campaign, running from 16th to 26th October, bringing all 72 EFL clubs together to challenge racism and reinforce the message that it has no place in football, online or in our communities.

We are committed to ensuring Blundell Park is a welcoming and inclusive environment where everyone can enjoy football free from racism and discrimination.

If you witness or experience racism at Blundell Park, please report it to a steward or member of Club staff as soon as possible. Reporting incidents immediately gives the Club the best opportunity to gather evidence, identify those responsible and take appropriate action.

EFL data from last season showed that 63% of racism incidents reported directly to clubs resulted in individuals being identified and action being taken, highlighting the importance of speaking up when discriminatory behaviour occurs.

Tackling racism is a responsibility we all share. By reporting incidents and challenging discrimination, we can help ensure everyone feels safe, respected and welcome at the home of the Mariners.

Together, we can help make football a place where everyone belongs. For more information on reporting discrimination, click here.

Half-Time Entertainment – Half Way Line Challenge

Our Half Way Line Challenge will be taking place at half-time during tomorrow’s fixture, with supporters aged five and over invited to take part for the chance to win one of three prizes.

If you’d like to get involved, please speak to our flagbearer co-ordinators, who will be positioned next to the PA box at the entrance to the Main Stand.

Good luck to everyone taking part!

Half Time Bonanza

The Half Time Bonanza is Grimsby Town’s instant cash prize draw where supporters can win up to £750!

Tickets cost just £1 each and are sold all around the ground on a matchday. The draw takes place on the pitch at half-time, and the winning numbers will be announced by the stadium announcer.
