FIRST TIME FANS
We are committed to making sure that first time fans, of all ages, have a great matchday experience at Blundell Park.
The Main Stand – build back in 1901 – is the place we would recommend families and younger supporters to sit. From here, you can catch a glimpse of your heroes as they head out of the tunnel and you’ll be close enough to hear the shouts and sounds from the pitch during the game. The Main Stand also has two welcoming and friendly bars – the PPAG Bar and the Family Lounge – where children enjoy refreshments and interact with other young Mariners.
Mighty Mariner, the Club’s much-loved mascot, can also be found close to the Main Stand on a matchday and will happily pose for photos.
If a child is attending their first game at BP, just let us know and we’ll provide you with a free digital certificate. Just email [email protected] 48 hours before the fixture and you can collect it from the Ticket Office on the day of the game.
Also, there’s even a chance for a youngster to step on to the hallowed turf on their first visit by being one of our flagbearers. If you know someone who’d like to take part, email our Family Co-ordinator [email protected] 48 hours before the game, and we can make the arrangements.

THE FAN ZONE
Our Family Fan Zone is a great place to meet friends, enjoy a drink and listen to live music before a game at Blundell Park.
Choose from a selection of craft beers by Docks Beers (the town’s local brewery) and food from the Chicken Man who serve chunks of chicken and chips with a wide selection of flavourings.
To access the Fan Zone, make your way to the car park at the front of Blundell Park and head to your right where you will see the entrance. It opens at 12 noon on a Saturday matchday and 5:30pm for midweek fixtures.
The Fan Zone closes at 2:45pm (7:30pm for midweek fixtures) and reopens at half-time for fans situated in the Upper and Lower stands.
Please note that away supporters are welcome.

FOOD & DRINK
Wherever you choose to sit at Blundell Park, there’s somewhere for you to enjoy a drink or bite to eat.
Along with our hugely popular Fan Zone, the Lower Bar (at the bottom of what was formerly known as the Findus Stand) is open from 12pm and sells a selection of beers, ales and soft drinks.
In the Main Stand, you get the choice of not one, but three separate bars. The Matt Tees Lounge (opposite the entrance to the Main Stand) is an old-fashioned pub that used to be the old players’ bar back in the 1960s. If you close your eyes, you can almost still smell the woodbines!
While at the other end of the stand, the PPAG Bar and the Family Lounge both cater more for families and younger supporters. With a choice beers, soft drinks and snacks in both, there really is something for everyone.
Although the Pontoon doesn’t have a designated pub like the Main Stand, the Wheelhouse Bar (in the corner of the stadium) sells a selection of bottled beers and soft drinks.
Supporters also have plenty of food options to choose from around the ground, from modern street food to classic footy grub. Here’s a taste of what to expect:
Cooky Cooks – Cooky Cook’s change their menu on a weekly basis and these can be found on their Facebook page before a match. They also sell a selection of pastries and offer out free biscuits with hot drinks every week.
The Dogs – The Dogs sell foot-long hot dogs, pulled pork rolls and a selection of pastries.
Sharky’s – Sharky’s are permanently situated in the Upper Stand and sell BBQ pulled pork buns, chilli dogs and other tasty items and hot drinks and refreshments
Food hub – The Food Hub serve a wide variety of refreshments including pies, pasties, sausage rolls and cakes.
The Hat-Tricks Food Pod – They are permanently situated in the kiosk behind the Osmond Stand and sell a variety of food including dirty fries, loaded nachos and pastries, as well as hot and cold drinks.
Scruffy Spuds Street Food – They are permanently situated in the kiosk behind the covered corner of the Osmond Stand and serve jacket potatoes and chips with a variety of toppings
The Family Lounge also serve sausage rolls, pies and other items to junior supporters.
We choose to rotate the food vendors every matchday and their positions are communicated in advance on social media – follow @GTFC_SLO on X for more information.
