The Grimsby Town Sports and Education Trust Board is delighted to announce the appointment of a new Chief Executive. Jo Schofield will join GTSET on Monday 9th May to further develop and grow the work of our community trust.
Chris Grocock, Chair of the Trust said “We are delighted to welcome Jo to GTSET. She joins with excellent experience of senior management and leadership in the charity sector and will bring a wide range of skills to complement and develop the existing team, allowing GTSET to grow and expand our work in the community in line with the Trust and Club’s vision for the future.”
Chief Executive of Grimsby Town Football Club and Trust Board member, Debbie Cook said “I am delighted to welcome Jo to GTSET. I’m really excited about her appointment and what she will bring to complement the great work of the existing team. Jo brings energy and skills which will allow us to grow the Trust’s reach and the breadth of our work in the community. Watch this space – I have every confidence that the Club and Trust can have an even greater impact for good in the area.
Jo joins GTSET with a broad range of experience of working in the national charity arena. Keen to get started Jo said “What a great opportunity this is for me, to bring experience gained through working in senior management positions within national charities, into my home town; I’m thrilled to be taking on this new role for GTSET. I look forward to meeting the team and hearing more about what we are delivering in our community, as well as providing strategic management and leadership to take the Trust to the next level”.
