Grimsby Town Football Club can confirm that defender Ryan Sears has left the club after his contract was terminated by mutual consent.

Sears signed a one-year deal at the Club back in the summer of 2021 re-joining Paul Hurst at the Mariners, the manager who gave him his first professional contract during their time at Shrewsbury Town.

During his time at the Mariners, Ryan made eight appearances in all competitions, starting on each occasion.
