SUPPORTERS’ GUIDE | BRADFORD CITY

Making the trip to the Univeristy of Bradford Stadium on Saturday for our second Sky Bet League Two outing of the New Year in our early kick-off against Bradford City?

Our Supporter Liaison Officer, Kristine Green, gives the run down of all the key information for our supporters making the trip to West Yorkshire this weekend.

What kit are we in for this game?

We will be wearing our Blue third kit for the second time this year on Saturday.

What’s the ticket information?

Tickets can still be purchased from the Blundell Park Ticket Office up until 3pm tomorrow, with tickets remaining in the Upper Tier of the TL Dallas Stand

Any tickets left are available at the ground on the day in the TL Dallas Stand and are priced as follows:

Adult – £25.00
Seniors (65+) – £20.00
Young Person (17-23) – £20.00
Youth (12-16) – £10.00
Junior (11 and under) – £5.00

How do I get to the ground?

Post code for the ground is BD8 7DY.

Exit the M62 at junction 26 for the M606 to Bradford. At the end of the road use the right-hand lane and take the Right Road East, signposted A6177 – City Centre. From here the stadium is well signposted with the usual football image.

What stand are we in?

We have both the TL Dallas Stand behind the goal and blocks F and G of the Bradford Lift Stand.

When do turnstiles open?

Turnstiles open 90 minutes before kick-off. Please ensure that you look to enter the stadium via the correct turnstiles for the ticket that you have purchased to avoid any delays.

Where is the best place to park?

There is a small car park on Midland Road, near the away end which charges a nominal fee. As this is on the main road that passes the stadium it will take a short while to leave after the game. Parts of both Midland Road and Queens Road are used for matchday parking but be aware of any restrictions.

Otherwise it’s street parking further away from the ground or in one of the car parks in the city centre which is about a 20-minute walk, uphill, to the stadium.

Parking for disabled supporters?

Midland Road is permitted for blue badge holders.

What is the nearest train station to the stadium and what is the approximate distance and walking time?

The stadium is served by two train stations and which one you use depends on your match day requirements.

If you want a beer in the town centre beforehand then you want the Bradford Interchange from Leeds. This is quite a walk, however taxis are available.

Alternatively, Bradford Forster Square from Leeds is only 10 minutes from the ground but takes you to the retail park rather than a pub.

Recommended pubs for away fans?

The Bradford Arms on Manningham Lane has a beer garden and is near the ground if you don’t fancy the trek into the town centre, where there are a number of other pubs. This is a good 20 minute walk though.

Food available in the area?

The Broadway Retail park has a McDonalds, Taco Bell, KFC and other national chains. There are a number of fast food outlets near the Bradford Arms on Manningham Lane.

Where is the nearest cash machine to the Stadium?

The nearest cash machine is on Manningham Road services or the Canal Road service station. These may charge for cash withdrawals.

What food and drink is available on the concourse at the stadium?

The usual hot/cold food and drinks items will be available on the concourse of both stands. A quick reminder that the Bradford Lifts stand will be serving alcohol but the TL Dallas stand is strictly ALCOHOL FREE.

The stadium is cashless so only contactless or card payments are accepted.

Can I purchase a programme?

Bradford City no longer produce printed programmes

What is the process for supporters looking to bring flags into the stadium?

Flags will be allowed with valid safety certificates. Please speak to a nearby steward for advice.

Other points to note

The stadium is strictly no smoking, which includes the use of vapes and other similar products. Anybody found to be smoking will be ejected immediately – the club has a zero-tolerance policy on this across the whole stadium.
