The Mariner makes a welcome return this weekend for the visit of Altrincham to Blundell Park for a 3pm kick-off on Saturday afternoon.

Club historian Rob Briggs continues with part twelve of Ancient Mariners, as he focuses on the early part of the 1884-85 season.
