The Mariner Returns For Saturday’s Visit Of Bolton Wanderers

Our award-winning match day programme, The Mariner returns this Saturday for the visit of high-flying Bolton Wanderers ahead of our 12:30pm kick-off.

In this weekend’s edition, February recruit Giles Coke is in the spotlight after proving to be a calm and collected head in the centre of Paul Hurst’s midfield.

We take a look at this weekend’s visitors in our ‘In Port Today’ and ‘Ones To Watch’ features and John ‘Kirky’ Kirk gives us his ‘six of the best’ from our previous encounters with Wanderers.

In addition to a number of our regular features, we take a look at our common connections, as we go back in time and revisit goalkeeper Aidan Davison and his heroics for Town alongside his four years as a Trotter.

Following last weekend’s news relating to the potential takeover of the club, the Mariners Trust also answer a number of questions relating to the upcoming EGM as well as the intentions of 1878 Partners Limited.

We also sit down with programme editor Jack Johnson who recalls the events which led to him attending his first Mariners game in 1994 in an exciting 3-3 draw against Bolton at Blundell Park.
