The Mariner Returns With Free Pull-out Poster

Our award-winning matchday programme makes a welcome return this weekend for the visit of Notts County for a 3pm kick-off this Saturday.

Within the centre pages of the programme this week, you will find a ‘gatefold’ double-sided poster including our 2021/22 squad photo on one side, with the club’s vision & values on the reverse side, explaining what it means to us to be Town and how we are all truly greater together.

In this weekend’s edition, we sit down with ever-present full-back Adam Crookes following his summer transfer to the club on how he has settled, how he feels the season is going so far and his ambitions for the season ahead.

Grimbarians returns this week with Terry Hall, a well-respected individual that many of you will know from away games if you have ever travelled with the Away Supporters Club. For the last 15 years, Terry has been responsible for the away travel club, assisting countless supporters to make the journey far and wide to follow the Mariners.

We revisit last weekend’s victory over Yeovil Town, along with a recap of Tuesday’s disappointing defeat on the road to Wealdstone. In addition, we round up the GTFC Youth Team’s recent result, including an emphatic 8-0 victory at Huddersfield Town, followed by the end of their FA Youth Cup run at the hands of Crewe Alexandra.

Rob Briggs provides part seven of ‘Ancient Mariners’, a series telling the story of Grimsby Town’s origins, focussing this week on the year 1883. Carl Hullett also remembers the rampaging central midfielder, Shaun Cunnington, who was part of one of the most formidable partnerships in the club’s history.

Including our mini and young Mariners pages and much much more, there is something for everyone in Saturday’s edition of the Mariner, so be sure to purchase yours!
