Supporters can purchase their tickets through Boston United’s ticketing platform here.
Disabled supporters who require assistance are advised to contact Boston United directly to arrange their tickets. Any supporters who are struggling to purchase tickets online are welcome to visit the Blundell Park Ticket Office, where staff will be happy to help complete the purchase.
We thank supporters for their continued patience and understanding following these changes.
Due to the First Team’s Sky Bet League Two away fixture against Chesterfield taking place on Tuesday 14th April, the evening before the final, the Mariners will field a predominantly youth side for this fixture, providing an exciting opportunity for the Club’s emerging talent to represent Town on a big occasion.
Road To The Final
Town booked their place in the final with an impressive 2-0 victory over Cleethorpes Town in a fiercely contested semi-final at the HBS Plant Hire Stadium.
Clarke Oduor fired the Mariners into an early lead before Andy Cook marked his first start since returning to the Club with a goal from the penalty spot seven minutes before half-time. After the break, Cleethorpes applied sustained pressure, but Town defended superbly, with Seb Auton producing a string of excellent saves to secure a clean sheet and send David Artell’s side into their first County Senior Cup Final in 12 years.
The journey to the final has demonstrated both resilience and the strength of the Club’s pathway. Town progressed through a dramatic penalty shootout victory over Scunthorpe United in the quarter-finals following a 1-1 draw, with Charlie Casper saving the decisive spot-kick. A youthful Mariners side blended Academy prospects with senior experience throughout the competition.
Boston United secured their place in the final with a 3-1 victory over Lincoln United, setting up an exciting showdown under the lights.
A Competition Steeped In History
The Lincolnshire Senior Cup has a proud tradition dating back to 1935-36, with Town among its most successful clubs. The Mariners have lifted the trophy on numerous occasions, including a dominant spell in the early 1990s and most recently in 2014-15.
Overall, Town have won the competition 15 times, placing the Club among the most successful sides in the county’s modern senior era.
Before 1935, the County Senior Trophy served as Lincolnshire’s premier county competition. Town were also prominent in that tournament, winning it multiple times between 1885 and 1933, underlining the Club’s long-standing county pedigree stretching back well over a century.
Victory in April would see the Mariners add another chapter to that proud history.
The Mariners will now prepare for what promises to be a special occasion at the Jakemans Community Stadium, with silverware on the line and county bragging rights at stake.
We look forward to seeing plenty of Town support on the night.
