Travelling To Stevenage? Read Our Essential Guide Before You Set Off

What’s the ticket information?

GTFC SLO: If you are travelling without a ticket one can be purchased from the South Stand turnstiles on the day.

How do I get to the ground?

GTFC SLO: SG2 8RA is the postcode that you need for the stadium and it is signposted from junction 7 of the A1(M).

Where is the best place to park?

GTFC SLO: A free car park for 500 cars is available at the Fairfields Valley car park. This is clearly signposted from junction 7 of the A1(M) and is located on the opposite side of the dual carriageway to the stadium.  Various Pay and Display car parks are also available in the town centre. A matchday shuttle is available from the bus or railway station in town and drops you outside the stadium at a cost of £1 each way.

The retail parks have strict parking restrictions which could lead to a fine and fans are asked to have consideration for local residents if using street parking.

What is the nearest train station to the stadium and what is the approximate distance and walking time?

GTFC SLO: Stevenage train station, which has a direct service from Newark, Doncaster and London Kings Cross is located in the town centre and is about a 25-30 minute walk away.

Recommended pubs for away fans?

GTFC SLO:The Broadhall Suite at the ground is not available for away fans. So, for us, the nearest welcoming pub is Our Mutual Friend which is around a 10-15 minute walk from the ground.  Alternatively, the town centre has numerous pubs/bars.

When do turnstiles open?

GTFC SLO: Turnstiles open at 1:30pm. With entry available as pay on the gate fans are advised to arrive in good time as entry can be slower during peak times.

Food available in the area?

GTFC SLO: Again, the town centre has plenty of options and the ground is situated near a large retail park which includes such outlets as Burger King and Nando’s.

Where is the nearest cash machine to the Stadium?

GTFC SLO: The town centre has plenty of cash machines otherwise there is a cash machine in the Roaring Meg Harvester but may charge for withdrawals.

Is our drum allowed in the stadium? What is the process for supporters looking to bring flags into the stadium?

GTFC SLO: Stevenage advise that any fans looking to take a drum or flag of significant size should email ahead: [email protected] If the expected crowd is below 1100 then a drum can be located in block C or D of the South Stand with permission.  Any flags must be located as per steward’s instructions.

What food and drink is available in the concourse at the stadium?

GTFC SLO:The concourse serves both hot and cold food and drink but does NOT serve alcohol.
