We are delighted to announce that our Women’s First Team will be playing two League fixtures at Blundell Park before Christmas, starting off by welcoming Dronfield Town Ladies FC First on the 8th September for their opening fixture of the season.

Ben Challen’s squad will then host Chesterfield FC Women First on Sunday 10th November, with both fixtures kicking off at 2pm.

Tickets are priced at £4 for adults and £2 for all other concessions and will be available to purchase online from tomorrow at 9am and from the Ticket Office at 10am

On hosting these games at Blundell Park, club CEO Polly Bancroft said, “We are fully committed to driving the long-term growth of the women’s team, and a key element of that is making Blundell Park a second home by delivering a great experience for players and fans.

“The occasion will provide the team with greater home advantage and an opportunity to raise their profile. We look forward to seeing Mariners, old and new, at the game.”

Dani Brighton, captain of the women’s team, added, “Blundell Park is the heart and soul of Grimsby Town Football Club. We are absolutely honoured to get to play a couple of our fixtures here before Christmas and we hope to see many young future mariners there!”
