Grimsby Town Football Club are pleased to announce that midfielder, Martyn Woolford has signed a new one-year-deal with the club.

The 32-year-old originally signed for The Mariners on the final day of the summer transfer window in 2017 making his debut in our 1-0 victory over Crewe Alexandra on September 2nd. Since joining the club, Woolford has gone on to make 33 appearances in all competitions, scoring on two occasions.

Woolford played an important role in ensuring Town maintained their Football League status, starting in all 5 of our final fixtures which saw The Mariners pick up 13 points out of 15.

He joins James McKeown and Andrew Fox in renewing their deals ahead of the 2018/19 season, as Michael Jolley looks to build his squad to challenge Sky Bet League Two next campaign.
