Grimsby Town Football Club can confirm that midfielder, Max Wright has been recalled from his loan spell at Boston United with immediate effect.

The GTFC Academy graduate joined the Pilgrims earlier in the season on an initial one-month-deal, which was then extended on two occasions, the latter of which included a 28 day recall clause which has now been activated.

During his time at the National League North side, Wright made a number of impressive performances, earning numerous Man of the Match awards. Overall, Wright made a total of 33 appearances, scoring 7 goals including this fantastic strike in earn a 2-2 draw away to York City.

Max will now be eligible for tomorrow’s trip to Notts County and our final fixture of the 2018-19 season at home to Crewe Alexandra. Tickets for our final game of the season can be purchased online NOW using our online ticket store.
