1997/98 event on Friday!

Join us in celebrating one of our greatest-ever seasons on Friday evening in McMenemy’s.

It’s been 25 years since the Mariners won at Wembley twice in 1997/98 and claimed the Auto Windscreens Shield and promotion back to Division One via the Play-Offs, and we are inviting Alan Buckley and members of that iconic squad back for a night of celebration, reminiscence, and entertainment.

The evening will be hosted by Kev Rodgers, our matchday announcer, and Scott Woodthorpe will also be doing Q&As with the legends in attendance. People in attendance will receive a commemorative programme celebrating the season and there will be a photographer present to take photos of fans and the legends.

Over the last couple of weeks we have confirmed that the following stars of ’98 will be at the event:

Alan Buckley
John McDermott
Jack Lester
Mark Lever
Steve Livingstone
Kingsley Black
Dave Smith
Tommy Widdrington

Plus, other special guests from the campaign!

We now only have a limited number of ‘Gold’ and ‘Silver’ packages left but there is still good availability in the ‘Bronze’ package. See the full detail below.

GOLD | £50 | Entry from 6pm

Fans who purchase a Gold Ticket will eat fish and chips with the stars of ’98. They will also get the opportunity to meet the players, get a framed photograph with their heroes and get autographs. Gold ticket holders also will get priority seating for the Q&A.

SILVER | £30 | Entry from 6:30pm

The Silver package doesn’t include food but includes a framed photograph with their heroes and the opportunity to get autographs before the start of the event.

BRONZE | £20 | Entry from 7pm

Bronze Tickets are for the Q&A with the players which starts at 8:15pm. Fans can still get their photograph taken with the players but at an additional cost on the night.

The bar at McMenemy’s will be open long after the conclusion of the event.
