Making the journey down to King’s Lynn Town on Easter Monday? Kristine Green has provided the following travel guide to help make your trip run as smooth as possible.
What colour kit will the team be wearing?
We’re in the red kit for this one.
What’s the ticket information?
The ground is ticket only, they do not operate pay on the turnstile. Our remaining allocation of approximately 200 tickets will be available from the box office only. Please do not go to the turnstiles without a ticket.
How do I get to the ground?
Post Code is PE30 5PB
Come off the A47 at the Hardwick Roundabout and head towards Kings Lynn. Follow this road for about a mile, at the next roundabout take the 4th exit onto Tennyson Avenue. The ground is about a mile down this road.
Sutton Bridge has had roadworks which have really slowed up traffic – we are led to believe from local press reports that the temporary traffic lights will be removed for the Easter weekend. However with the sheer numbers travelling, please add extra time onto your journey to be sure.
What stand are we in?
Fans standing will be on the Mick Wright Terrace and round towards the Tennyson Road terrace, those with seats are in the Grandstand.
When do turnstiles open?
Turnstiles will open at 12.15pm to get supporters into the ground in good time. Please note that there are two turnstiles for ALL away fans and there will be queues. If you arrive at the ground close to kick-off, it’s likely you won’t see the start of the game.
Where is the best place to park?
Parking at the ground is limited and so parking in St James’ multi-story (PE30 1BT) is recommended. This is only 15 minutes away from the ground. It’s £4.00 for 4 hours, £4.70 for 5 hours.
Is there any disabled parking?

What is the nearest train station to the stadium and what is the approximate distance and walking time?
Kings Lynn railway station is around half a mile away, 5-10 minute walk away from the ground.
Recommended pubs for away fans?
There is a couple of smaller pubs within a five to 10-minute walk of the ground – the Live and Let live on Windsor Road and The Porterhouse on London Road. If you’re travelling by train there is a Wetherspoons called the Globe Hotel on King Street.
You also have the Maids Head on Tuesday Market Place and The Eagle on Norfolk Street.
A lengthier walk away, overlooking the River Ouse is the Crown & Mitre on Ferry Street. This has national and regional real ales and serves food.
There are other pubs but all are on the smaller side.
Food available in the area?
Local and national food chains are available in the town centre, which is only a 5 to 10 minute walk from the ground. Some places may be closed with the game being on a Bank Holiday Monday.
Where is the nearest cash machine to the Stadium?
Plenty of ATM’s in the town centre, which is only a 5 to 10 minute walk from the stadium.
What food and drink is available in the stadium?
NO alcohol in the ground – simply because there is no place to be able to drink without being in view of the pitch on the terrace.
Usual burgers, hot and cold drinks available in the ground – cash payments likely to make things quicker.
Is a programme available?
Printed programmes are available from sellers around the ground priced at £3.50
