The Mariners have been drawn in Group F of the 2023/24 EFL Trophy.

Our opponents in the group stage will be Barnsley, Bradford City and Manchester City under-21s – a side the Mariners defeated on penalties in last season’s group stage to reach the knock out rounds.

The dates of the group stage matchdays are as follows:

Match 1 – 5/6 September
Alternative dates – 22/23 August or 12/13 September

Match 2 – 10/11 October
Alternative dates – 3/4 October or 17/18 October

Match 3 – 14/15 November
