Over 200 people from mental health organisations in our community have been given complimentary tickets to tomorrow’s game thanks to our Community Partnership Fund.

Ahead of World Suicide Prevention Day on Sunday 10th of September, several local charities, organisations and services responsible for providing support for the people of North East Lincolnshire received tickets to our game against Gillingham.

Over 200 people from NAViGO, Creative Start, Andy’s Man Club, Mind, ReThink, YMCA Humber and Compass Go are set to take their seats in the Osmond Stand for the Sky Bet League Two fixture.

Speaking of the initiative, Chief Executive Officer Debbie Cook said, “As a football club we are already committed to raising awareness of mental health through our partnership with NAViGO.”

“It will soon be World Suicide Prevention Day, and even if this initiative sparks just one conversation which helps someone in our community, it will be worthwhile. We want people to talk, to reach out for support.

“We’re grateful to be able to use the Community Partnership Fund, kindly donated by Pete Rose and Gavin Munson of 3Q Industrial Supplies Limited. Their generosity allows a wider group of people the opportunity to come to games at Blundell Park”.
