On Wednesday afternoon at King George V Stadium, the Grimsby Ancient Mariners Walking Football Club played a team from the Mariners Trust as part of their campaign to raise money for Prostate Cancer.

Team 3 from GAM took the honours but the most important thing was that everyone really enjoyed it, with £300 being raised for the charity.

Added to the money raised from their brilliant calendar, this makes the total £3800 so far. The campaign finishes when the Ancient Mariners will be special guests of the football club for the Cambridge game when they will hand over the cheque.

It would be great to get the total up to £4,000 by then.
