Saturday’s fixture against Crewe Alexandra is extra special as we dedicate the day to supporting the Grimsby Town Foundation, the charitable arm of our club.
Fans are invited to help raise vital funds that allow the Foundation to continue delivering life-changing programmes for young people and the wider community across North-East Lincolnshire and beyond.
The Foundation’s work reaches thousands every year, supporting people of all ages. Its programmes range from community and school engagement initiatives to inclusive and disability football sessions, holiday camps, and youth development schemes like Shadow Scholars, Mini Mariners, and Premier League Kicks.
By supporting the Foundation, fans help fund initiatives that deliver education, motivation, and confidence to young people, while also providing opportunities for adults to engage in football in an inclusive and supportive environment.
How Can You Support?

Changing Lives In Our Community
Take Calvin Smith, who joined Premier League Kicks after hearing about it from a friend. Calvin quickly found football becoming a positive influence on his education and personal development: “I finished school and now I’m studying Level 2 Sport at college. Kicks has helped me stay focused and stay active.”
He has also started volunteering at sessions, building coaching skills, leadership, and confidence – demonstrating the programme’s long-term impact on both sport and personal growth.
Similarly, the Premier League Primary Stars PE Support programme has enhanced physical education for local pupils. Participants like Alia and Oakley Watson have reported improved engagement, enjoyment, and confidence, showing the transformative effect of quality coaching alongside school teachers.
Every Donation Counts
Without the support of fans, the Foundation could not reach the same number of people or deliver its wide range of programmes. Donations help fund:
- Educational and community initiatives
- Inclusive football sessions for people of all abilities
- Holiday camps and structured activities
- Youth development and mentoring schemes
How to Support:
- Donate via programme sellers (cash or contactless)
- Scan QR codes around the stadium, in the programme, or online
- Follow Grimsby Town Foundation on social media for updates and volunteering opportunities
This weekend, fans can see first-hand the impact of their contributions, from young people taking to the pitch at half-time to trying the Keepy Uppy challenge, all while supporting a charity that changes lives across North-East Lincolnshire.
Together, let’s make a difference – one goal at a time.
