AWAY DAY GUIDE | Salford City

Here is our Away Day Guide ahead of our final away trip of 2023…

What colour kit will the team be wearing?
We’re in our black and white home kit for this game.

What’s the ticket information?
Any tickets available on the evening are priced as follows:

Standard (22-59) – £15.00
Concession (18-21/60+) – £10.00
Juniors (14-17) – £5.00
Kids* (5-13) – £1.00

*must be accompanied by a responsible adult aged 18 or over

How do I get to the ground?
Post Code is M7 3PZ.

Leave the M60 at junction 17 and use the A56 towards Manchester City Centre. Take the third turning on the right signposted Oaklands Hall/St Pauls Church on to Moor Lane. The main entrance is the next left onto Neville Road – the ground will be on your right.

What stand are we in?
The East Stand is a terrace behind the goal where fans with standing tickets will be. Those with seating/wheelchair bay tickets are in the North Stand.

Entry to both sections is via Turnstile Block A on Moor Lane.

When do turnstiles open?
Turnstiles open at 6.30pm. These are located on Moor Lane – you need Turnstile block A (1, 2 & 3).

Where is the best place to park?

There is no on-site parking for supporters.  There is also a residents only parking scheme surrounding the ground(see the map).

Some parking is available on Moor Lane but watch for restrictions. The top of Kersal Road also has some parking.

Is there any disabled parking?

Salford City’s charter states that Blue Badge holders can park within the residents only zone for up to 3 hours during restricted times (5pm-11pm). So be mindful that if you park up at 6.45pm or before, it’s likely you will be parked there for longer that 3 hours and liable for a ticket.

What is the nearest train station to the stadium and what is the approximate distance and walking time?

The nearest mainline station is Manchester Victoria which is over 3 miles away so walking is probably not an option from there!

There are plenty of taxi’s at the station or the 97 and 98 bus gets you there for a couple of quid.

The nearest metroink tram stop is Crumpsall Tram station but that is a good 30 minute walk away. You can catch this from Manchester Victoria or Piccadilly.

Recommended pubs for away fans?

The supporters bar at the ground is home fans only and there are no pubs within the immediate vicinity as the ground is in a mainly residential area.

10 minutes away you have Fairways Lodge on George Street although this is more of a hotel or the Star Inn on Back Hope Street in Higher Broughton. This is 20 minutes away and can be difficult to find!

Food available in the area?

Not a lot as the ground is situated in a residential area.

Where is the nearest cash machine to the Stadium?

There is no cash machine located close to the ground – nearest is at M+S on Littleton Road (M7 3QG) or Sainsburys on Bury New Road (M25 9JZ).

What food and drink is available on the concourse at the stadium?

Behind the East Stand there is Babs’ Café serving hot food and hot/cold drinks. There is also Café Football serving hot, cold and alcoholic drinks.

Is a programme available?

A printed match programme is available at a cost of £3.00, and is cash only. A digital version is also available from Salford’s website.

What is the flag policy?

Please follow stewards instructions on placement.

We wish you safe travels to Salford this Friday!
