Neil Woods’s Grimsby Town youth team welcome Burton Albion to Cheapside in the EFL North East Youth Alliance on Saturday (12pm).
The young Mariners won 2-1 away at third-place Bradford City last weekend.
And Town, who are currently eighth (out of 11 teams), will be looking to make it back-to-back wins and climb further up the table against the Brewers.
The Mariners have lost just one of their last five league matches – a 3-1 home defeat to Rotherham United last month – and they will be hoping to continue their good form this weekend.
Burton, who are 10th-place, lost 2-1 at home to Huddersfield Town last weekend – their fourth defeat in their last five games in all competitions.
And they will be looking to return to winning ways, and leapfrog Town, at Cheapside on Saturday.
After this weekend’s clash with Burton, the young Mariners travel to Scunthorpe United on Tuesday (1pm).
