The Mariners make the trip to the capital to face play-off chasing AFC Wimbledon at the Cherry Red Records stadium tonight (kick-off 7:45pm).
Town claimed all three points against Forest Green Rovers in the last round of Sky Bet League Two courtesy of a fine first half Harvey Rodgers strike from the edge of the box. The Mariners now make the journey South looking to claim back-to-back wins and go nine points clear of the bottom two.

Head Coach David Artell has suggested that there are no new injury concerns heading into tonight’s game. Charles Vernam is back running following his hamstring injury but will not feature meanwhile Justin Obikwu could return to the squad following his international call-up for Trinidad and Tobago.
AFC Wimbledon
These two sides last came face to face on the opening day of the 2023/24 League Two season when Wimbledon made the trip to Blundell Park and saw out a goalless draw. The game however wasn’t without drama as a second half penalty by Al Hamadi for the visitors was well saved by Jake Eastwood in the Mariner net.
Wimbledon are currently managed by former Charlton Athletic player and first-team coach Johnnie Jackson who has been with the London based side since May 2022 and now has his side in touching distance of the play-offs and a potential return to League One after a two-year absence.
The Dons come into this game after their dramatic 1-0 home win over arch-rivals MK Dons which saw them grab a 94th minute winner through Ronan Curtis.

Former Mariner James Tilley is Wimbledon’s top scorer having scored 10 goals in 36 games this season. Tilley temporarily taking the crown after the January departure of previous top scorer Ali Al Hamadi who joined Championship side Ipswich Town.
