We have received a number of queries relating to our National League fixture with Notts County, which is scheduled to take place at Meadow Lane on Saturday 5th February.
On the same date, Nottingham Forest are currently due to play Coventry City at home. As both clubs share the same policing resources for match day, it is unlikely that both fixtures will be played at the same time.
However, both Nottingham Forest and Coventry City have FA Cup 3rd Round ties this weekend, with the 4th Round due to be played on the weekend of the 5th February.
Having spoken to Notts County, no decision will be made on the movement of either game until the outcome of those fixtures and the 4th Round draw is known.
Whilst we appreciate that many fans will be looking to plan for the weekend with train and hotel bookings – we would recommend leaving this until we have final confirmation of fixture details. We will update supporters as soon as we have this information.
