The Mariners announce new technical partnership with Umbro

Grimsby Town Football Club is delighted to announce that Umbro will be the club’s official kit provider for the next three years.

The highly respected British sports brand will supply the Mariners with bespoke match kits for the first team, academy and women’s team, along with training and leisurewear until the end of the 2026-27 season.

Umbro has been synonymous with the beautiful game since 1924 and last season they worked with more than 120 teams around the world including West Ham United, Brentford, AFC Bournemouth and Luton Town in the Premier League.

The Mariners already have a past association with Umbro, having previously wore their kits in the early 1970s, although the famous diamond logo didn’t appear on the jerseys.

On the club’s new partnership with Umbro, Marketing and Communications Manager Jack Johnson said, “We are all really excited to be in a partnership with Umbro, a globally known brand with a rich history of creating iconic football kits.

“Their portfolio of past kits and heritage pieces blew us away and it’s been great to work closely with them on our kits and training wear for next season.

“I can’t wait for us to start revealing them to our fans over the coming weeks, starting with the home shirt very soon.”

The club’s partnership with Umbro is licenced through Kitlocker, a Sheffield-based company who supply world renowned sportswear brands to clubs, national governing bodies and institutions.
