The Mariners to switch to LOTTO from the 2026/27 Season

Grimsby Town Football Club is delighted to announce that LOTTO will become the club’s official kit supplier from the start of the 2026/27 season on a multi-year deal.

The move to the Italian sportswear brand forms part of an extension to the club’s partnership with Kitlocker, who serve as their official UK licensee.

The iconic brand has been worn by some of the biggest clubs in world football including AC Milan, Juventus, Napoli and the Mariners between 1996 and 1998. During that period, they produced some of the club’s most iconic kits and training wear, which remain firm favourites amongst supporters to this day.

The design of the new kits has once again been led by Head of Marketing & Communications, Jack Johnson, and proud Grimbarian and JD Sports Product Director Luke Matthews. Luke has worked closely with the club on its retail and kit strategy over recent seasons, helping to develop collections that celebrate Grimsby Town’s identity, history and connection with supporters.

Speaking of the switch and new kits the club is soon set to release, Jack Johnson said, “We’re really excited to bring back LOTTO as the club’s official kit supplier from the new season.”

“They are already part of the club’s story having produced some iconic kits back in the 90s and we saw this as a great opportunity to create more kits and lifestyle pieces that would be popular with our supporters.

“Our strategy for the last couple of years has been to take inspiration from the club’s archive and the kit manufacturer’s own back catalogue, and it’s proved to be a very successful one. This new agreement with Kitlocker allows us to build on the momentum generated by the Umbro kits and reconnect with an iconic part of Grimsby Town’s heritage.

“We’re really looking forward to seeing the reaction of our fans to the new LOTTO kits which will be available very soon.”

Mariners fans won’t need to wait too much longer to get their first official glimpse of the new home shirt, with the promo video set to be released early next week ahead of going on sale before the end of June.
