Town coaches to take part in charity cricket match

Members of Grimsby Town Football Club’s coaching staff will be taking part in a cricket game in honour of Andrew Jamieson on Thursday evening.

Head Coach David Artell will be joined by Shaun Pearson, Ben Davies, Steve Croudson and other members of the coaching staff in the GTFC team against ‘Jamieson CC’, a team who play in the local midweek cricket league in memory of their former teammate, Andrew.

The game will take place at Cleethorpes Cricket Club and the first ball will be at 6:15pm. There will also be live music from local singer Sam Simmons and some of the Mariners first team will also be in attendance.

The charity event is free of charge but donations to the British Heart Foundation will be welcome on the night.

We look forward to seeing plenty of Mariners at Cleethorpes cricket club on Thursday evening!
