Yeovil Town Travel Guide

Making the mammoth journey down to Yeovil Town this weekend? SLO Kristine Green has provided the following guide to help make your trip run as smoothly as possible.

What colour kit will the team be wearing?

We’ll be in red for this game.

What’s the ticket information?

Tickets are available on the day for away fans. They are cheaper online but these end at 12pm.  After this time tickets can only be purchased from the ticket office at Yeovil’s ground and have a further price increase.

What stand are we in?

We are in the Screwfix Community Stand.  This is a covered seating stand at the side of the pitch. The standing terrace behind the goal is not available for this game.

What time will turnstiles open?

Turnstiles will open at 1.30pm.

How do I get to the ground?

Postcode is BA22 8YF

Leave the A303 and take the A3088 towards Yeovil.  After a few miles, you’ll reach a roundabout with Westlands airfield straight ahead of you, turn left here. Carry straight down this road until you reach ASDA, take the next left. You can see the ground from here.

Where is the best place to park?

Parking is available at the ground for £3.00 – it will take some time after the game to leave the car park as there is only one road in and out of the ground. Otherwise, there is plenty of street parking slightly away from the ground. Be mindful of any potential restrictions though.

What is the nearest train station to the stadium and what is the approximate distance and walking time?

Yeovil Junction and Pen Mill can be used but both are miles away so you’ll need a taxi if travelling by train.

Recommended pubs for away fans?

Not really a lot around the ground.

At the ground itself, there will be a tent/marquee with a bar for Town fans to use.

The William Dampier in town also welcomes away fans but the town centre isn’t really within walking distance.

Is food available in the area?

Palmers Fish + Chips is located next to The Airfield Tavern.

KFC, Table Table and ASDA are a 15-minute walk away.

Not a huge amount around the ground as it’s a pretty industrial area and the Town Centre is a couple of miles away.

Where is the nearest cash machine to the Stadium?

There’s a Tesco on Abbey Manor Park which has a free cash machine.  Slightly further away is ASDA that you will pass on your way to the stadium.

What food and drink are available at the stadium?

Usual burgers and pies with hot and cold drinks are available.

Is a programme available?

Printed programmes are available around the ground for £3.00

What is the policy on flags?

Please follow the stewards’ instructions for flag placement.
